How does the commission rebate work?

Resident must purchase a home using the services of Pearson Properties as your Broker which results in a commission being paid to our company at closing. This home could be listed with Pearson Properties or any other Real Estate Company in the area, or be a HUD or VA Foreclosure property. The Rebate must be disclosed on the HUD-1 or other official closing document at the time of closing. The Rebate is available to buyers who close escrow and proceed to final settlement with Pearson Properties acting as their sole and exclusive agent in the purchase of real estate. The rebate is twenty percent (20%) of the Cooperating Broker Commission (“Commission”) actually received by Pearson Properties at escrow settlement for representing the buyer. Pearson Properties is not responsible for the reporting or payment of any federal or state taxes for its clients associated with the payment of the rebate.
